Our commitment to sustainable development

We understand the transformative impact of making informed decisions. Our enthusiasm is dedicated to realizing our individual top priorities among the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals outlined in the Agenda 2030.

Here, we present our ongoing initiatives and accomplishments, confident that they contribute significantly to forging a path towards a more promising future. The future is upon us, and its promise extends to all.

Embracing sustainability unlocks numerous possibilities. Each day, we approach our work with enthusiasm and resolve, striving to create a world that is both sustainable and conducive to life for present and future generations. A commitment to a long-term perspective has consistently been at the core of our values, as we firmly believe that acknowledging the consequences of our choices is the essential path forward.

Steel: a sustainable material

Steel presents loads of opportunities due to its exceptional natural properties, positioning it as an optimal construction material from both a structural and environmental standpoint. With the ability to undergo infinite recycling without compromising its inherent qualities, steel aligns seamlessly with the tenets of the circular economy, devoid of any expiration date. As an endlessly renewable resource, steel stands as a paradigmatic material for fostering a sustainable economy. Steel structures are green.

Green Energy

We strongly advocate for the adoption of renewable energies as the path ahead. To uphold this commitment, every single one of our processes is exclusively powered by sustainably produced and distributed energy.

The rooftop of our headquarters in Auer (South Tyrol) is adorned with photovoltaic panels, ensuring that 100% of the energy we consume is derived from renewable sources. The Electricity we obtain from Alperia is produced  100 % from South Tyrolean hydropower.

For the sake of our planet

Even the slightest action holds the potential to create a positive impact. At Agrotecnica, we actively encourage all our employees to engage in practices that conserve resources and reduce our environmental footprint.

Our commitment is evident through practices such as waste separation, avoidance of plastic bottles and cups, and a predominant reliance on digital processes to minimize paper consumption. Additionally, we provide the option for employees to utilize our company-owned E-Bikes as eco-friendly modes of transportation.
